FORMER deputy Police Chief Lenny Harper has been cleared of all internal charges against him.
Investigations into Mr Harper – who retired from the States of Jersey Police a year ago – began after former officers and associates claimed he carried out ‘witch-hunts’ against them, and that he bullied some of them out of the force.
But Mr Harper says that the States of Jersey Police have written to him saying that he had been cleared of all the allegations after a lengthy investigation, and that the inquiries are over.
He said that there had been five complainants in total, four former policemen and tow truck operator Roy Boschat. ‘All have now been found unsubstantiated or vexatious,’ said Mr Harper.
