First arrest in historical abuse inquiry

RELEASED TO MEDIA AT 10.45 AM ON TUESDAY 29 JANUARY

The States of Jersey Police can confirm that a man in his Seventies has been arrested and is currently in custody in connection with the ongoing historical abuse inquiry which the States of Jersey Police are currently investigating.

The man has been arrested in connection with historic indecent assaults on children.
The arrest took place this morning.
