CALLS in ‘huge’ numbers are continuing to pour into Police Headquarters about alleged child abuse at Haut de la Garenne.

The information which they are providing is likely to increase from 40 the number of alleged male and female child abusers living in the Island and the UK whom the police already consider to be suspects.

Police have said that the continuing response from the public has been ‘huge’, and that they have had to appoint dedicated staff to deal with it.
